The State of Wisconsin experiences four distinct seasons. Sometimes snow falls on the ground in this state in this state as early as Late October and as late as May. Therefore, winter is typically the longest season-lasting sometimes even longer than the “official” start and end of water according to the dates of the winter solstice and the spring equinox. There has been snow that has fallen at unusual times of the year as well, such as in early July.
