Virginia is the home to some established post secondary education, like the University of Virginia, the old school of Thomas Jefferson, to Virginia Tech. The Virginia Department of Education does a very good job, and the state is rated as one of the tops in rigorous standards for testing high school graduates. Their schools aren’t in the colonial Virginia style anymore. The Virginia lottery supports public education with millions each year.

Government Of Virginia

The facets of the government in Virginia run smoothly from its Virginia courts, Virginia Employment Commission, to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. The Virginia state police have a hard job to do, but do it well with Virginia’s roadways to protect, and the growing population to guard. Old Thomas Jefferson wouldn’t recognize the ole home state he left behind on the Virginia map. Ben Franklin, Jefferson’s political comrade in arms against the British, wouldn’t understand it either with the proliferation of Virginia newspapers, but he would love to have seen it happen.
