Texas
Texas (TX) is Mexican in origin. It is located right above Mexico. This state had declared its independence from Mexico in the year 1836, and became the 28th state of the U.S. Quite a few people Texas still speak the Spanish language and the food is very representative of original Mexican Taste (Tex-Mex style food is what it is called). When a person arrives in the southern portion of Texas it’s as if that person were already in Mexico. This state is made up of thee different climate zones, which are the humid subtropical climate of eastern Texas, the semi-arid of northwest Texas, and the arid climates in southwestern Texas (especially around El Paso).
