Atlantic City


Atlantic City is located in the state of Georgia. It is most known for its gambling casinos and its boardwalk. Atlantic was first officially established as a city in the year 1854.

Some of the names of this city’s casinos include Bally’s Atlantic City, which is located on Park Place and Boardwalk. The Borgata is another, which is located on one Borgata Way (a.k.a. 1501 MGM Mirage Boulevard).

Other names of casinos in this city include Showboat, Trump Plaza, Trump Taj Mahal, and Tropicana. The architecture of each of these casinos is very unique, and these are all considered resorts as well.

Some of the casinos listed above as well as ones not listed above have changed hands or have changed names (i.e. the Caesars Atlantic City, which used to be Caesars Boardwalk Regency). There are others that used to exist in this area, but they are no longer in operation. Casinos are only one thing that Atlantic City is known for.

Shows often are presented at the Atlantic City Convention Center. There are many outdoors events that take place in this city as well such as the Atlantic City Boat Show. There also is some strong influence of Atlantic City media entertainment, which takes place through film, television, and radio outlets.

The Press of Atlantic City is one outlet for print journalism. This is one that is primarily used to keep up with everyday activity and news. It may also be one place to find a calendar of events for live entertainment and events scheduled throughout the entire city.

This city is also known to be shown in a variety of films or television episodes. For instance, one of the episodes of Sex and the City was tapes in the Taj Mahal Casino. The Simpsons was also another television show that made an appearance in Atlantic City. Movie scenes have been filmed in this city as well.

Atlantic City also offers quite a few modes of transportations. There is a highway system that has been created within this state, and there is also a fairly sophisticated rail and bus system in this state. This city also has airlines and highways, and also sends out taxis for hire.

The name of the airport that runs out of this city is the Atlantic City International Airport, which is located near the Egg Harbor Township. The Philadelphia International Airport and the Newark International Airports are often used by people traveling to and from Atlantic City as well.
