South beach
South Beach in Florida actually means two different things. There is a small town that is of CPC status (census-designated place) that only has in it 3,457 people as of the year 200. South Beach also refers to a section of Miami Beach. This area covers approximately 22 blocks. These blocks are designated as the southernmost point of the island that divides the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. Beautiful pictures have been taken from all angles of South Beach. One of those is a shot from Biscayne Bay looking on to Miami Beach, and the city of Miami that can be seen from a distance. Another view of the South Beach section of Miami Beach is shot straight from the water towards this portion of land. Scenery at night has been captured as well. One nighttime picture has been taken from the southwest side of this beach to the city skyline, and a scene of glowing Ocean Drive has been taken after dark as well. A daytime shot of Ocean Drive has been also taken probably more than once during the day. One of the more recent photos displayed for the public to view is the one of a crowd during Super Bowl XLI. There is so much about South Beach (in Miami Beach) that makes this area what it is. People who visit this area enjoy the Flamingo Park, and they find the night life of this area exciting-especially spring break partiers. Football, basketball, and baseball fans also sometimes enjoy taking part in Miami Beach celebrations that take place in the South Beach section of the city. What South Beach, Miami Used To Be The South Beach portion of Miami Florida used to actually be farmland. That is probably part of what you didn’t know about this particular section of Florida-that and what was mentioned at the beginning of this article about the town in Florida by the same name. The crop that was originally grown in the South Beach section of Miami Beach, Florida was coconut. Then, in the early 1900s began the construction of a bridge from Miami, Florida to Miami Beach, Florida. That bridge was left unfinished for awhile. The original plan was to incorporate South Beach as a separate city from Miami Beach. However, to this day it still remains a part of the larger coastal city. This city was and in some respects still considered quite poor, and the area did not really receive much recognition until the filming of the TV show series Miami Vice.
