Of course the UK means a lot more to people outside of the UK, people think of it as all of its territories too. British Museum: You can fly into or out of London on a British Airways. Their rates are reasonable, but remember that all of the places you want to go for international travel will cost more than flying within a country. In the country of mainland Britain of UK, you can see a lot of history. In the British Museum you can explore countries of centuries ago like Egypt, and the Celts of Ireland. On a daily basis study groups and lectures are open to the public to learn more about these types of fascinating cultures. Kids have their own tours where they learn about fossils found in Great Britain, or even ancient Roman artifacts found in the United Kingdom. Battle of Britain Museum: Another good museum to stop at in Kent, England is the Battle of Britain. It’s the oldest and has the most artifacts from the WWII battle. Lectures are given, and never before seen photos are on view. Fund raisers are held, so if you want to help a good project, plan to go there when they have an open house as long as the UK weather permits you.
